Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis (LIOS) is offering fixed term position of the technician of Natural Products Research (NPR) group. The position is offered within the call HORIZON-WIDERA-2022-TALENTS-01 ERA Chair project Natalion.
The main research directions of the NPR group will be:
- accessing microbial diversity unique to Baltic area
- setting up collections of microbial fermentation extracts
- establishing genomic and metabolomics platforms.

Responsibilities and obligations
- To manage and maintain the microbial strains collection
- To assist in microbial stains collection and post-process
- To perform large scale cultivation of microbial strains
- To perform general lab assigned duties such as inventory, consumables order, and others
- To adhere to ethical standards
- To respect contractual and legal obligations
- To act according to professional standards.
