Review on Mitochondrial Function in the Insulin-resistant Heart

Scientists from the Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Pharmacology together with authors from 7 other countries published a joint review on how mitochondria are functioning in the insulin-resistant heart. Authors described changes in energy metabolism and mitochondrial function in the diabetic heart as well as highlighted possible treatment strategies.
