Chemistry of β-lactam and γ-lactam derivatives and the investigation of their structure activity relationships.

Improvement of pharmacological properties of nitrogen containing biologically active compounds by their chemical modification (synthesis of organosilicon and “dual action” prodrugs, synthesis and investigation of mixed ligand organometallic complexes as antitumour and antimicrobial agents). Design, synthesis, physico-chemical and biological study of magnetic iron oxide based nanoparticles with immobilized biologically active compounds for biomedical application
