The review summarizes new approaches for microtubule targeting agents

The review article by scientists from the Biotechnology group (Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis) and European Institute of Oncology (Italy) on recent experimental and computational approaches for the identification of novel tubulin modulators and delivery strategies has been published in the journal “Frontiers in Molecular Biosciences” (IF = 5.25).

These approaches include orphan small molecules, PROTACs as well as light-sensitive compounds that can be activated with high spatio-temporal accuracy and that represent promising tools for precision-targeted chemotherapy.
