On Friday, 4 April, the President of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs, included a visit to LIOS in his official schedule.
It is an honour to be among those who help shape the President’s view of Latvian science.
It wasn’t only the President who learned, saw, and experienced — the presidential shadowers did too, as part of Latvia’s annual Shadow Day, where students accompany professionals to get a glimpse into their daily work.
Following the visit, the President shared on his Facebook page:
