LIOS researchers continue studies in the field of materialsciences and OLEDs

Joint research by Pavel Arenyan group (IOS) and scientists from the Kaunas University of Technology on new OLEDs has been published in the Journal of Materials Chemistry C (IF=7.059).

A procedure for post-functionalization by 3,6-di-tert-butyl-carbazole or 3,7-dibromophenothiazine of dicyanopyridines has been reported. Pyridine ring in these structures exists in a twist-conformation in solid-state. Green and orange OLEDs with 3,6-di-tert-butyl-carbazole-containing emitter exhibiting normal TDAF, showed a high maximum EQE of 25%.
