The Scientific Committee of the Congress has developed a two-day program that includes thematic discussions, speeches, seminars, demonstrations and other activities of different formats. The scientists, doctoral candidates and students from Latvia and Latvian origin all over the world are invited to submit abstracts for poster presentations.
Please submit your applications in Latvian and English (or only in English) by 31 March 2023 via the Congress website www.sciencecongress.lv.
Abstracts for posters
The Scientific Committee of the Congress invites you to submit abstracts of up to 200 words from any industry or cross-industry, specifically indicating the potential of your research to contribute to Latvia’s growth. Through the concept of Latvia’s growth, we understand both technological development and the improvement of people’s well-being (physical and mental well-being), health, economy and environment.
The challenges and solutions to Latvia’s growth most successfully can be seen in the cross-industry corporation, as well as in the corporation with industry and society.
Therefore, we encourage you to present the results of your research in an engaging manner, which would generate interest for scientists from other fields as well.
In order to exhibit your poster at the Congress, please submit you’re abstract.
A cross-disciplinary international scientific jury will carry out a blind review of the abstract. As a result, those abstracts that are in line with the objectives and topics of the Congress will be selected. Once selected, applicants will be invited to prepare a poster for the Congress in digital format.
If the topic of the abstracts coincides with one of the three main topics of the Congress – Green transformation, Digital transformation or the impact of the science, the scientific committee of the congress can invite these applicants to speak in the congress (in one of the parallel sessions of the program). In such cases, applicants will be contacted individually.
We are looking forward to meeting you at the 5th World Congress of Latvian Scientists “Research Latvia”!
