On September 4, 2015 academician Ivars Kalviņš was awarded with Walter Cap prize for outstanding inventions of medical chemistry and Latvian prestige in the world. Rolf E. Schütte, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Latvia and Minox representative Friedrich Oehlschläger took part in this event.
